Dr. Erin Butler is an Ohio native with over 20 years of experience in pharmacy encompassing publishing, retail, retail management, and compounding. Before moving to Arizona in 1997, Erin graduated with honors from Kent State University in Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in biological anthropology and archaeology. Erin earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, in 2004. During pharmacy school Erin was a member of several pharmacy organizations including Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society as well at the recipient of the Midwestern University Heritage Scholarship. Erin spent 10 years in retail pharmacy with Kmart as a technician, pharmacist and finally a district supervisor. While she was with Kmart Erin specialized in delivering programs to educate programs on diseases such as hypertension and heart disease. She developed and implemented a nationwide training program for pharmacists to implement their own Diabetes Education Day for patients. She has spent the last 15 years of her career at a retail independent pharmacy in the Scottsdale area, where she learned compounding, including but not limited to hormone replacement, pain management, dermatology, thyroid and overall health and wellness through compounded preparations. Erin’s passion is improving overall health of her patients and providing solutions to patients’ needs. She is currently working on advancing her knowledge in wellness and patient care.
